Deborah Sue Gard, age 59, of Corunna, Indiana, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Parkview Behavioral Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Deborah was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 3, 1958 to Charles L. Cosand and the late Patricia Joan (Wagoner) Cosand. Her mother preceded her in death in February of 2015. Deborah graduated from Leavenworth High School, Leavenworth, Kansas in 1976. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Park College, Parkview, Missouri and her Master’s degree in counseling from Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne in 2006. Deb was a licensed therapist and social worker.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Heather and Derek Johnson of Kendallville.
Daughter, Jaime and Kenneth Giboo of Corunna.
Grandchildren: Kathryn Giboo, Emmett Giboo, and Leo Samuel Johnson.
Father, Charles Cosand of Greenfield, Indiana.
Brother, Mark and Kim Cosand of Indianapolis.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon.
Burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Noble House Ministries.
