Devon Owsley, age 80, of rural LaGrange County, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 near his home. Devon was born in Vest, Kentucky on February 20, 1938 to the late Lewis and Ida (Gibson) Owsley. He married Annetta Mae Rowlison on August 2, 1954 in Auburn, Indiana. He retired from Sturgis Foundry in 1992 and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Daughter, Vonda and Tom Harlan of Avilla.
Son, Jimmy and Becky Owsley of Walterboro, South Carolina.
Son, Donald Owsley and his friend, Sun Gose both Lagrange.
Son, Kevin and Dawn Owsley of Fremont.
12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Sister, Imogene Lovely of Rensselaer, Indiana.
Sister, Josephine Gettys of Perrysburg, Ohio.
Sister, Christine Murray of Muncie, Indiana.
Sister, Margaret Overton of Indianapolis.
Brother, Dan and Anita Owsley of Walterboro, South Carolina.
Brother, James Manuel Owsley of Lakeville, Indiana.
Brother, Bruce Owsley of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brother, Ronnie and Laurie Owsley of Rensselaer.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother and a grandson, Chris Swindle.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 17th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery in Lagrange County.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
