Ellis Slone

Ellis Slone, age 58, of South Milford, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his home.  Mr. Slone was born in Perry County, Hazard, Kentucky on July 30, 1960 to the late Arland and Jezzie (Slone) Slone.  He moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1976 graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1978.  He married Sandra Lynn Reynolds on August 26, 1978 in Clintwood, Virginia and she preceded him in death on March 30, 2009. 

Survivors include:
Son, Nick and Teca Slone of Auburn.
Son, Robert and Melissa Slone of South Milford.
Daughter, April and Zachary Somkit of Kendallville.
Daughter, Jessica and Mike Weathers of Waterloo.
Son, Adam Schuller of Ashley.
11 grandchildren.
Sister, Irene and Dewey Short of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Orbin and Janice Slone of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Brother, Orville Ray and Tincia Slone of Waynesboro, Tennessee.
Sister, Arlene and Roger (deceased) West of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Robert and Angie Slone of Sneedville, Tennessee.
Brother, Arland, Jr. and Leisha Slone of Kendallville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandy; sisters, Opal, Elsie, Helen, Bonnie, Sue, and Herma Jean; and brother, Monroe Slone. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 17th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Harbor of Love Baptist Church with an evening service at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 11:00 at Harbor of Love Baptist Church with Pastor Matt West and Pastor Robert Slone officiating.    
Burial will take place at Corunna Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
