Evelyn Faye (Zander) Baas

Evelyn Faye Baas, age 68, died December 17, 2017 at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehab Center in Angola. Mrs. Baas was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on January 19, 1949 to the late John Snyder Zander and Joanna (Leamon) Zander. She graduated from Salanco High School in 1967 and married Weldon Harley Baas on February 23, 1969 in Quarryville, Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker. 

Survivors include:
Husband, Weldon Baas of Angola.
Son, Robert and Carol Baas of Brogue, Pennsylvania.
Daughter, Letitia and Wade Maines of Fairfield, Pennsylvania.
Son, W.H. Alfred Baas of Orland, Indiana.
Eight grandchildren.
Sister, Linda and John Hartzell of Punta Gorda, Florida.
Sister, Joan and Frank Sheets of Peachbottom, Pa.
Brother, Leonard and Karen Zander of Quarryville, Pa.
Brother, Amos and Jean Zander of Pennsylvania.

There will be a memorial gathering on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the George Anspaugh Memorial V.F.W Post 7205, 2013 North Wayne Street, Angola from 1:00 -3:00 PM.

A memorial service will be held January 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, 355 East State Road 120, Fremont IN 46737.
