Gary G. Gilmore, age 79, died Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Aperion Care in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Gilmore was born in Anderson, Indiana on May 13, 1940 to the late Horace Vincent Gilmore and Olga Josephine (Kleeberger) Gilmore.  He graduated from Anderson High School, attended Indiana State University and honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1961-1963.  On October 1, 1965, in Fort Wayne, he married Dorothy May Harmeyer.  Gary was a Hostess salesman for Continental Bakery in Fort Wayne for 32 years and member of American Legion Post 48.

Survivors include:
Wife, Dorothy Gilmore of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Ginger and Adam Gable of Fort Wayne.
Son, Tyler and Angie Gilmore of Fort Wayne.
Three grandchildren: Gwendolyn and Paul Carmen of Fort Wayne; Michael Gilmore of Fort Wayne; Sylvia Gable of Fort Wayne; and one great grandson, Dominic Gable.
Sister, Lynne Crowe of McComb, Illinois.
Brother, Jeff and Linda Gilmore of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gerrod Gavin Gilmore in 1974.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 California Road, Fort Wayne.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church with an hour of visitation prior to the service.  Pastor Alex Duff will officiate the funeral service.
Burial with military honors will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to Suburban Bethlehem Church.
