Harold "Glen" Hurt, age 81, of Kendallville, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mr. Hurt was born on January 2, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Andrew and Theonia (Smith) Hurt. Harold worked as a foundry worker for Newman and Lane's Foundry in Kendallville. After 22 years of service, he retired from Frick Lumber Company in Wawaka. He loved to go fishing and fix various things that needed tinkered with.
Son, Willie Hurt.
Daughter, Glennis Faye Fulford.
Grandchildren, Michael Fulford, Preston Fulford, Skyla Hurt, Dustin Hurt, and Nicole Hurt.
Great-grandchildren, Bentley Dreibelbis, Bonnie Hurt, Autumn Hurt, Nova Jane Hurt, and Zoey Fulford.
Ex-wife, Betty Hurt.
Step-children, Tommy Click, Ricky Click, Peggy Sue Vangorden, Jimmy Click, Bobby-Joe Click.
He was also preceded in death by his son, James Hurt, Brothers; Clyde and Eli Hurt, Sisters; Lois Terry and Jean Ritchie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 3:00-7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Clarence Combs.
