James C. “Abe” Boszor, age 59, of Wolcottville passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his residence. Jim was born in Kendallville, Indiana on May 22, 1957 to the late John “Jack” and Norma (Kurtz) Boszor. He graduated from East Noble High School in 1975. He married Joyce Duszynski on November 7, 1982 and they had three beautiful daughters together.
Jim was a member of the Rome City American Legion. He worked in the construction business his entire life, following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps. Jim was soft spoken and very laid back. Besides his love for his family, one of his greatest loves was walking through the woods looking for mushrooms. He loved his daily visits with his nephew (the son he never had) Justin Yates and his wife Janay. Jim was a proud man and worked in Colorado for 18 years, which is where his daughters and grandbabies reside.

Sister, Jill (Boszor) Wentworth of Kendallville

He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Roger Newman.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 2:00 pm to close at the Rome City American Legion Post #381, 611 Kelly Street, Rome City, Indiana 46784.
A luncheon will take place at the Legion from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
Preferred Memorials may be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.
