Jann Marie (Reidenbach) DeRose, age 70, of Rome City, died Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in LaGrange. Mrs. DeRose was born in Kendallville, Indiana on September 22, 1947 to the late Theodore Alvin Reidenbach and Jesse Mae (Shock) Reidenbach.  She was the manager at the Holiday Inn Express in Kendallville and prior to that she worked at the New Sun in Kendallville for many years as the distribution manager.  In the past, she attended to Faith United Methodist Church and belonged to the Moose Lodge Auxiliary in Kendallville.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Hindi and Rick Clark of Kendallville.
Daughter, Dawn and Bob Blum of Rome City.
Seven grandchildren: Cort and Chelsey Newport of Avilla; Kara and Kurtis Hawver of Kendallville; Alyn Clark of Fort Wayne; Alyx Clark of Kendallville; Ryan Clark of New Orleans, Louisiana; Bobby Blum of Wolcottville; and Madison Blum of Wolcottville.
Three great grandchildren: Kali Ann Hawver, Keenan Hawver, and Reece Newport.
Brother, Gregg and Dianne Reidenbach of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Jill and Jon Tarney of Stroh.
Special nephew, Erik and Jennifer Reidenbach and their daughter, Logan.

She was preceded in death by her nephew, Bret Reidenbach on April 3, 2012.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. 
A memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM immediately following visitation. Pastor Steve Barht of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate the memorial service.
Memorial donations may be made to Helping Hands of Rome City.
