Lloyd Clinton Getts, age 86, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his home in Kendallville.  Mr. Getts was born in Dekalb County, Indiana near Waterloo on June 8, 1933 to the late Clinton Isaac Getts and Mable Mae (Perkins) Getts.  He graduated from Kendallville High School in 1951 and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He married Mary Louise Bowerman on June 10, 1956 at the Church of God in Ashley, Indiana. Lloyd was employed with the City of Kendallville Street Department for 40 years before retiring in 1995.  

Survivors include:
Wife, Mary Getts of Kendallville.
Daughter, Dianna Boehme of Kendallville.
Daughter, Brenda and Donald Fike of Ashley.
Daughter, Cristy Anthony and her companion, Mike Dempske both of Kendallville.
11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Terry Getts in 2010; brothers, Wilbur Getts, Harold Getts, and Earl Getts; and sister, Dorothy Metzger. 

Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Secor officiating.
Burial with military honors will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be David Getts, Caleb Getts, Donald Fike, Adam Anthony, Aaron Anthony, and Kyle Spencer. 
Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
