LORETTA A. MCKEAN, age 50, of rural Kendallville, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
Mrs. McKean was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on November 2, 1960 to Robert and Sonia (Bohde) Bercot.
She graduated from Carroll High School in 1978.
She married Robert S. McKean on November 2, 2003 in the Smokey Mountains.
Loretta was an administrative assistant and employed with Lincoln Financial Group in Fort Wayne.
Loretta enjoyed bird watching and flower gardening.
Survivors include:
Her husband, Robert S. McKean of rural Kendallville.
Grandchildren, Kylie, David, Garrett, Bobbie and Samantha.
Her parents, Robert and Sonia Bercot of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Marie Bercot and her companion, Tom, of Fort Wayne.
Two nieces, Jenny and Jami of Fort Wayne and two great nieces.
Father and mother-in-law, Roy and Louise McKean of Fort Wayne.
She loved her dogs and three cats, Mac and Bird, Frankie, GG, and Champ, and her cats, Zoro, Kit and Roxanne.
Grandchildren, Kylie, David, Garrett, Bobbie and Samantha.

Visitation will be May 10, 2011 from 1-2:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street in Kendallville with a memorial service at 2:00pm.
Preferred Memorials may be made to Dekalb County Humane Shelter.
