Marilyn K. Baker, age 76, of Kendallville, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Baker was born on May 16, 1941 in Auburn, Indiana to the late Gerald and Esther (Rhodes) Boyd. She attended Waterloo High School. On May 16, 1980, Marilyn married Stephen Baker in Hamilton, Indiana. She worked as a bartender for Paul's Pub for 10 years. Marilyn was a mother to many children and owned and operated her own day care service out of her home for 25 years. She loved her family and spending time with children. She and her husband enjoyed camping in Mongo, Indiana. Marilyn was a very caring and warm-hearted lady.

Daughter, Joan and Gary Rowe of Kendallville.
Son, Dennis Long and Susan Ross of Kendallville.
Granddaughter, Janel and Kevin Hamilton of Corunna.
Grandson, Bronson Rowe of Albion.
Grandson, Stephen Long of Kendallville.
Grandson, Dennis Eymer of Michigan.
Granddaughter, Carri and Dustin Hires of Michigan.
Grandaughter, Jenna Long of Kendallville.
5 Great-grandchildren.
Brother, Donny and Barb Boyd of Auburn.
Brother, Darl and Marty Boyd of Avilla.
Sister, Sherry Shepard of Kendallville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Bev Watson, and Brother; Morris Boyd.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Harbor of Love, 2353 South Lima Road, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00am at Harbor of Love.
Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Charles Mosley.
