Marilyn Louise Reynolds, age 85, of Avilla, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Presence Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. Mrs. Reynolds was born December 7, 1932 in Swan Township, Noble County, Indiana to the late Wallace and Velda (McCoy) Scheurich. She was a 1951 graduate of Avilla High School and worked many years on the family farm rural Avilla. Later she worked at King Seeley and Colwell General both in Kendallville. She loved her pets and took care of her dogs like her own children. She loved feeding and watching the birds, landscaping around her home, and flower gardening. She enjoyed watching figure skating, NASCAR, and I.U. basketball.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Sharlene and Mark Heine of Rome City.
Daughter, Deborah and Rodney Knox of Avilla.
Daughter, Sherri and Ken Ramey of Kendallville.
Daughter-in-law, Becky Reynolds of Fort Wayne.
Son, David and Susy Reynolds of Wolcottville.
9 grandchildren: Mark Heine,II, Matthew Heine, Laura Merriman, Lorrie Sue Knox, Tiffanie Knox, Kendra Ramey, Kamren Ramey, Stefanie Shire, Stephen Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, and Jackie Reynolds.
13 great grandchildren
Brother, Gerry and Carol Scheurich of Avilla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Wayne Reynolds; son, Steve Reynolds (2000); and brother, Norman Lee Scheurich.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Tom Novy officiating.
Burial will follow at Avilla Cemetery with Mark Heine, Rodney Knox, Ken Ramey, Kamren Ramey, Rayne Heine, and Caeden Honaker as pallbearers.
Memorial donations may be made to the Noble County Humane Society.
