MARY MARIE BECKER, age 92, of Kendallville died on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville. Mrs. Becker was born in Wawaka, Indiana on June 15, 1919 to the late Charles and Lulu (Ritter) Hoover.
She married Henry Allen Becker on March 8, 1941 in Columbia City, Indiana. He preceded her death May 16, 2002.
Mary was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kendallville. Mary was a good in the kitchen and shel loved to cook. She also loved to read, tend to her flower beds and raise a good garden.
Survivors include:
Son, Terry and Katie Becker of The Villages, Florida.
Son, Jerry and Susan Becker of Kendallville.
Daughter, Carol Steeg of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Pam and Dirk Renkenberger of Kendallville.
11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Sister, Evelyn Kitchen of Kendallville.
Son, Jerry and Susan Becker of Kendallville.
Daughter, Carol Steeg of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Pam and Dirk Renkenberger of Kendallville.
11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Sister, Evelyn Kitchen of Kendallville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 3:00-7:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home with visitation an hour before the service starts.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Dr. Leonard King.
Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
Preferred memorials may be made to Noble County Humane Shelter or Lutheran Life Villages.
Casketbearers will be her grandsons Kevin Becker, Jay Becker, Chad Becker, Kenneth Steeg, Josh Molen, and Ian Molen.
