Maxine Alice “Micki” Marker, age 91, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at her residence in Kendallville. Mrs. Marker was born in Auburn, Indiana on July 3, 1927 to the late Miles Alto Swain and Mary Henrietta (Griffin) Swain. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1945 and married Dallas Bradley Marker on July 30, 1960 in Angola, Indiana. Dallas preceded her in death in 2000. She was employed with Kraft Foods, Borg-Warner, and as a receptionist and secretary for Dr. Hepner’s medical practice in Kendallville. Micki loved playing cards, especially euchre. She loved horses, boating, traveling to Florida, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Son, Mike and Sue Boszor of Brandenburg, Kentucky.
Son, Terry and Gina Marker of Poland, Indiana.
Son, Doug and Valerie Marker of Auburn.
Ten grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded by her son, Thomas Miles Marker in 2018 and her sister, Iris Friedel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association.
