Opal Terry, age 62, died Monday, August 6, 2018 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. Opal was born December 30, 1955 to Alex and Nancy Jane (Handshoe) Terry at Handshoe, Kentucky. She was the youngest of 13 siblings and Opal and her sister, Corine shared the same birthday. She moved to Indiana in 1978 and was known to her friends and co-workers as “Opie”. She loved visiting family and friends, Kentucky basketball, Bluegrass music and pretty flowers.
