Patricia Ann (Borden) Dressler

Patricia Ann Dressler, age 83, died with her family by her bedside, on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla, Indiana.  A lifelong Kendallville, Indiana resident, she was born September 21, 1934 to the late Arthur Paul Borden and Anna Marie (Davis) Borden.  She graduated from Kendallville High School in 1952 and married Ivan Dale Dressler on November 26, 1953 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kendallville.  Ivan preceded her in death July 31, 2017.  Pat was a bookkeeper with Flint & Walling and Atz Furniture.  She was the patriarch of her family, a loving mother and grandmother, dedicated homemaker and devoted Catholic.  

Survivors include:
Son, Kurt and Lori Dressler of Kendallville.
Daughter, Michelle and Michael Sullivan of Goshen.
Son, Kevin and Sandy Dressler of Kendallville.
Ten grandchildren: Jessica and Ryan Schoof, Nicole and Aaron Hoyt, Matthew Dressler, Julie and Dustin Harmon, Marci and Woody Young, David Dressler, Tony Dressler, Mitchell Sullivan, Dindy Dressler, and Stephanie Dressler. 
12 great grandchildren.
Brother, Dick Borden of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Jeannie and Maynard Richter of Florida.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Bherns; and sister-in-law, Theresa Borden.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kendallville with Fr. James Stoyle officiating.
Burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville. 
Casketbearers will be Kevin Dressler, Kurt Dressler, David Dressler, Tony Dressler, Ryan Schoof, and Aaron Hoyt. Honorary bearers are Dick Borden and Maynard Richter. 
Memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
