Ray Graft

Ray Graft, age 62, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Graft was born on November 25, 1955 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to Mary (Thurman) Graft.  Ray graduated from South Side High School in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Graft served his country honorably with the United States Air Force.   Ray retired from the Fort Wayne fire department as a firefighter.  During his career at the fire department, he served as captain and a public information officer.  After retirement, he worked for Enterprise and American Red Cross.  On August 3, 2016, Ray married Deanna Hayes in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Ray loved to travel and enjoyed frequenting Las Vegas, Aruba, and Jamaica.  He was into technology and was extremely tech savvy.  Ray enjoyed shopping online and gambling in casinos.  He was very charasmatic and a people person.

Spouse, Deanna Hayes of Fort Wayne.
Mother, Mary Graft of Fort Wayne.
Son, Jeromy Joe and Christa Graft of Brownsburg, Indiana.
Son, Jeffrey Ray and Audrey Graft of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Grandchildren, Devon and Gavin Graft of Brownsburg, Indiana and Paul and Charlie Graft of Fort Wayne.
Step-son, Eric and Grayce Holloway of Fort Wayne.
Step-grandchildren, Makenzie and Izaiah Holloway of Fort Wayne.
Aunt, Ruth Graft of Snow Lake, Indiana.

Ray was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 12:00pm with calling two hours prior from 10:00am-12:00pm at  Fort Wayne Fire Fighters Union Hall, 1405 Broadway, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802.
Memorial donations may be directed to American Cancer Society or Indiana Cancer Society.
