Rhonda Sue Messer, age 51, died Friday, July 20, 2018 at her residence in Albion, Indiana. Rhonda was born on December 8, 1966 to the late Jesse and Dale (Roark) Messer. She was a certified nursing assistant and in the past worked at the Kendallville Manor and Hickory Creek of Kendallville. She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, going out to eat, going to the casino, playing bingo, and cooking.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Delisha Gallo of Albion.
Son, Justin Handshoe of Wolcottville.
Three grandchildren; Aniston Gallo, Jennesa Gallo, and Justtice Gallo.
Sister, Teri and Eddy Roark of Albion.
Sister, Robin Tackett and Ed Edsall of Brimfield.
Brother, Jesse William “Bill” Messer, III of Albion.
Brother, Timmy Messer of Kendallville.
Brother, Chris Messer of Stroh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jennifer Messer; and a granddaughter, Jesslynn Sue.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the Brimfield Revival Center, Brimfield, Indiana with an evening service at 6:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the church with Rev. Brett Frick officiating the funeral.
Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Brimfield.
