Sorry I was not able to make your fathers funeral! He was a kind man and I always enjoyed the visits with he and your mother. Now he is rejoined with Aunt Nancy the love if his life. I look forward to the day we can all join them again in our fathers house. It is never easy losing our parents just know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you today.

I met Dick when he and my good friend Chris reunited and rekindled a life long love they felt for each other. It was a true love story how their lives went in different directions for 50+ years and then one day they reconnected and it was as if nothing had changed! Their love for each other was strong again and they were determined to never let go of that for anyone or anything. I will miss seeing Dick trying to make up for years lost by àlways being by her side holding her hand or by just looking at her with joy and love in those big blue eyes of his! I will also miss his smile and rather dry sense of humour... He reminded me so much of my own Father in this and so many other ways that I'm having an extra hard time accepting what has happened...the salvation I find in all of this is that I know he is in a better place than I now and I will have the chance to see him again......so rest now my special friend.....and know all of your loved ones who have faith and believe in our heavenly Father will also see you again.......
