Robert Gerst, age 83, of Kendallville, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at home. Mr. Gerst was born December 14, 1935 in Ashley, Indiana to Donald Robert and Ruth Elizabeth (Harger) Gerst. He married Eula Joyce Baldridge in 1971 and she preceded him in death May 4, 2012.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Debra Yahne of Kendallville.
Daughter, Jenny Gerst of Kendallville.
Daughter, Robin and Kevin Chalifoux of Spencer, Massachusetts.
Son, Tim and Michele Gerst of Avilla.
Step son, Michael and Jane Girardot of Kendallville.
Step daughter, Michele Girardot of Kendallville.
11 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce; and sister, Alice Wolf.
