Ronald Ray Miller, age 57, of Wawaka, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his residence in Wawaka.  Ron was born in Kendallville, Indiana on November 7, 1961 to the late LeRoy J. Miller and Delphia (Handshoe) Miller.  His father died in 1986 and his mother in 2009. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Ricky Lee Miller.  Ron’s life was centered on racing cars.  He spent much of his time building, racing and repairing race cars.  He loved the racing world and his racing family.  He also was a lifetime National Rifle Association member and loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his brother, Bob Miller of Wawaka.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 28th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with an hour of visitation prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Memorial donations may be made to Hite Funeral Home to help his brother pay funeral and burial expenses.
