Rose M. (Bell) Gillespie, age 70, of Kendallville, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Gillespie was born on February 25, 1947 in Kendallville, to Paul and Esther (Hoffmeyer) Bell.  In 1964, she graduated from Kendallville High School.  She continued her education at Raydell College in Fort Wayne.  On February 19, 1966, she married Larry Gillespie.  Rose was a homemaker and provided motherly care to foster children for 15 years.  She also worked at Bostwicks and Walmart.  Rose loved to play bingo, euchre and cards with her friends.  Together, she and her family enjoyed camping at Gordon's campground and family vacations to Florida, Chicago, Illinois,  Michigan, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Survivors include:
Spouse,  Larry Gillespie of Kendallville.
Daughter, Teresa "Tracy" Gillespie of Kendallville.
Son, Brian and Joanne Gillespie of LaGrange.
Grandchildren, Sterling and Chelsea Walsh, and Ashton and Abigail Gillespie.
Great-grandchild, Jason Conley.
Sister, Diane Pastor of Kendallville.
Brother, Ricky Bell of Angola.
Brother, David Bell of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00pm with visitation one-hour prior from 1:00-2:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
Officiating the memorial services will be Pastor Charles Justice.
Memorial donations may be directed to Kendallville Youth Center.
