Thomas LeRoy Garrison

Thomas LeRoy Garrison, age 72, of Churubusco, died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Dekalb Health in Auburn, Indiana.  He was born on October 8, 1944 in Wolf Lake, Indiana to the late Dwight and Ruth Alene (Pugh) Garrison.  He married Loretta Mae “Pat” Stewart on December 31, 1968 in Brimfield, Indiana. Tom was a truck driver for 41 years.  He hauled logs for Indiana Wood and also drove truck for Kercher’s Sunrise Orchard of Goshen and hauled steel for LCI also out of Goshen.

Survivors include:
Wife, Pat Garrison of Churubusco.
Son, Michael Garretson of Andrews, Indiana.
Daughter, Sheila Garretson of Harrison, Michigan.
Son, Christopher Garrison of Garrett, Indiana.
Daughter, Mary Ann McKay of Fort Wayne.
Son, Franklin Garrison of Churubusco.
Daughter, Roxanne Garrison of Churubusco.
Son, James Garrison of New Castle. 
11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Brother, Richard and Ruthann Garrison of Kendallville.
Brother, Lynn and Justine Garrison of Kendallville.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Esther Rogers, Hilda Rasler and Julie Ann Barkley; and brothers, Eugene Garrison and Shirley Garrison.

No funeral services planned. Burial will take place at South Milford Cemetery at a later date. Cremation arrangements by Hite Funeral Home of Kendallville.
