Verlie Mullins, age 58, of Kendallville, went to be with his Lord and Savior at his home on Sunday, May 20, 2018 with his family by his side. Verlie was born in Tip Top, Kentucky on December 11, 1959 to the late Raleigh and Myrtle (Row) Mullins. He served his country in the United States Army for ten years throughout Desert Storm and the Gulf War. After his time in the service, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator. Currently, Verlie was a long haul truck driver and employed with Holland Freight and Schneider National. He married Tamara Dawn Campbell on March 30, 2002 in Avilla. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, his nieces and nephews, and especially with his grandson, Calvin.

Son, Zachary and Leah Dunn of West Columbia, South Carolina.
Daughter, Megan Rittermeyer and her significant other, Candice Hammond both of Fort Wayne.
Son, Rex Rossman of Kendallville.
Grandson, Calvin D. Rossman of Lake Orian, Michigan.
Sister, Roberta and Tom Bolton of Kokomo, Indiana.
Sister, Barbara Prater of Jackson, Kentucky.
Sister, Brenda Klein of Jackson, Kentucky.
Sister, Carmie and Alvin Prater of Jackson, Kentucky.
Brother, Wendell and Alleene Mullins of Knox, Indiana.
Brother, Farley and Hazel Mullins of LaPorte, Indiana.
Brother, Wayne and Mary Mullins of Paw Paw, Michigan.
Brother, Timmy and Karen Mullins of Wawaka.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raleigh Mullins in 1982; mother, Mrytle Rowe Mullins in 1994; brother, Carl Mullins in 1943; and brother, Terry Mullins in 2005.
Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Destiny Family of Faith in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Destiny Family of Faith with visitation an hour prior to the service.
Burial with military honors will take place at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Pallbearers will be his brothers; Wendell, Farley, Wayne and Timmy; Mitch Showalter, and Kenneth Johnson. Honorary bearers will be his children, Zach, Rex, and Megan and grandson, Calvin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Destiny Family of Faith.
