Ada Rose (Spallone) Menke

Ada Rose Menke, age 100, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Aperion Care, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Menke was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 18, 1919 the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Chesco) Spallone. Her family moved to Fort Wayne in 1939.  She married James Menke in 1941, worked at Magnavox and was an avid gardener. She was a wonderful, loving mother with a beautiful outlook on life. She gave her family the gift of laughter, integrity and strength. 

Survivors include:
Son, James and Karen Menke of Indianapolis.
Daughter, Sherry Wilt of Fort Wayne.
4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
Brother, Joseph and Patty Spallone of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jerry Wilt in 1999; three sisters; one brother; and a niece. 

Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, Fort Wayne with one hour of calling prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
