Obituary

Alex J. Devine, 72, of Wolcottville died Saturday, August 19, 2023, in Orchard Pointe, Kendallville. He was born August 13, 1951 in Wabash to James Philip and Mary Jo (Alexander) Devine. He graduated in 1969 from Wabash High School. Mr. Devine served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Rome City American Legion Post 381 and Kendallville VFW Post 2749.

Surviving is his one son, Dustin Jay (Christy) Devine of Cincinnati; three grandchildren, Makayla Devine, Sydney Wilson and Cortlyn Devine; one brother, Tim (Cindy) Devine of LaGrange; two nieces, Nicole (Eric) Miller and Tiffany (Andrew) Huber; and his long-time buddy, Joe Brand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Mary Jo Devine; a sister and brother-in law, Deb Devine Glass and Rob Glass.

Per his requests, there will be no visitation or service.
