Barbara (Gabriel) Lyons

Barbara Joan (Gabriel) Lyons, age 91, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at her home in New Haven. Mrs. Lyons was born in Appalachia, Virginia on November 10, 1933, to the late Joseph and Estelle (Wells) Gabriel. She married James Douglas Lyons on June 30, 1956, in Virginia. Barb was a devoted wife and mother and member of Lifeway Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include:
Husband, James Lyons of New Haven.
Son, Bret and Wendy Lyons of New Haven.
Son, Dan and Renee Lyons of Fort Wayne.
Son, Linc Lyons of New Haven. 
Four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 

One brother deceased, Donald Gabriel.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Richard Fletcher. 
Burial will follow at IOOF Odd Fellows Cemetery, New Haven. 
Memorial donations may be made to Lifeway Wesleyan Church.
