Belinda Lynn Dobson, age 48, of Avilla, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 9, 2020.  Belinda was born in Kendallville, Indiana on June 18, 1971 to Donald Ray Green and Barbara Ellen (Spriggs) Green. Belinda was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker. She married Carl David Dobson in Lisbon on June 6, 2005.

Survivors include:
Mother, Barbara Green of Kendallville.
Husband, Carl Dobson of Avilla.
Daughter, Courtnie Elizabeth Uphold of Avilla.
Son, Zechariah David Dobson of Avilla.
Daughter, Serenity Laine Dobson of Avilla.
Daughter, Heather Nicole and Mason Demaree of Kendallville.
Brother, Donald Green of Wolcottville.
Brother, Corbit and Jessica Green of Avilla.
Many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her. 
Belinda was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray in 2017 and her daughter, Taylor Rain Dobson in 2005. 

Due to COVID-19 social restrictions, visitation and funeral services will not be held at Harvest Community Church, as previously published.

A private funeral service for 10 family members only, will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 1 p.m., at Hite Funeral Home, with Pastor Brad Darr officiating.

Visitation will be open, but limited to 10 people at a time, prior to the service at 11 a.m.

Burial will take place at Sweet Cemetery near Albion. 
Casket bearers will be Alax Green, Mitch Seymore, Jeremy Jarman, Duane Green, Donald Green, Corbit Green and Laef Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hite Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
