Bill Mardin
Obituary
William Louis Mardin, age 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away January 10, 2023 at Lutheran Life Villages, South Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne. Mr. Mardin was born in Bristol, Connecticut on May 23, 1947 to the late Marshall Henry Mardin, Sr. and Bernice Viola (Bartlett) Mardin. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1965-72. He married Sharon Lee Heffner on July 8, 1989 in Fort Wayne and she survives him. Bill was a member of Shoaff Park Lions Club and American Legion Post 47.
Survivors include:
Wife, Sharon Mardin of Fort Wayne.
Son, Jonathan Mardin of Greenville, Ohio.
Stepdaughter, Amber Thacker of Sparta, Kentucky.
Stepson, John Roberts of Centerville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepdaughter, Lori Elaine Mauer; and his siblings, two sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 4700 Vance Avenue, Fort Wayne with visitation at 10:00 AM prior to the service.
Burial with military honors will take place at Highland Park Cemetery.
