Billie (Lehman) Lapadot

Wilberta Grace "Billie" Lapadot, age 96, of Fort Wayne, died August 7, 2024, at Miller's Merry Manor, Garrett, Indiana. Mrs. Lapadot was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on April 3, 1928, to the late Orvill Lehman (1980) and Grace (Stuckey) Gerardot (1992). She was employed as a postal clerk with the United States Postal Service. She married Carl Joseph Lapadot, Sr. in 1946 in Fort Wayne.  

Survivors include:
Daughter, Carol Ann Schell of Fort Wayne.
Son, Steven Michael Lapadot (Barb) of LaOtto.
Daughter, Cathy J. Murphy of Texas. 
Daughter-in-law, Diann Lapadot.
Ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl J. Lapadot, Sr.; daughter, Linda L. Schoenauer; and son, Carl J. Lapadot, Jr.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 19, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Cedar Creek Cemetery south of Garrett on CR 11A. Pastor Lois Watkins will officiate the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alsheimer's Research Foundation.
