Billy Campbell

Billy Eugene "Chuck" Campbell, age 69, of Kendallville, died April 30, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Billy was born in Bowling Green, Clinton County, Kentucky on July 8, 1954 to the late John Lee Campbell and Freida Mae (Bowlin) Campbell. He was raised in New Palestine, Indiana until 1980 when he moved to Brazil, Indiana until 2000. He worked at Great Dane Trailor Company for 20 years before he retired.  He was married to Leisha Ann Robinson from August 28, 1982 until March of 1999. They had two boys Billy Thomas, born in 1988 and Clinton Lee, born in 1992. Mr. Campbell moved to Kendallville in May of 2000 where he was employed by Tower Automotive until they closed.

Survivors include:
Son, Billy Thomas Campbell of Kendallville.
Son, Clinton Lee Campbell of Kendallville.
Two grandchildren: Brett Campbell of Kendallville and Allyah Campbell of Waterloo.
Mother of his children and her husband, Leisha and Arland Slone of Kendallville.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Morris Campbell and Tommy Campbell. 

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, May 6th, from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. No funeral service or burial.
