Brenda (Young) Manns

Brenda Lou (Young) Manns, age 70, of Avilla, passed away November 18, 2024, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. Brenda was born in Kendallville, Indiana, on December 5, 1953, to the late Herman and Viola (Knafel) Young. She retired as branch manager of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Kendallville in 2003 after 38 years of service. 

Survivors include:
Husband, Delbert Manns of Avilla.
Three grandsons: Nicholas Cardinal, Nathan Cardinal and Nelson Cardinal and three great grandchildren. 
Sister-in-law, Carolyn Salyer of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Johnny Cardinal in 2012; brothers, Donald Young and Rick Young; and sisters, Janice Miller and Lindol Abel.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. 
Burial will take place later at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion.
