Carol Anetta (Waltmire) Martin, age 70, formerly of Butler, passed away November 7, 2024, at her daughter's home rural Kendallville. Carol was born in Angola, Indiana on June 23, 1954, to the late Robert George Waltmire and Inez Faye (Perry) Waltmire. She was employed in area nursing homes as a nurse's aide. Carol was a kind and caring person who was willing to help anyone. She loved to plant and grow things. When she wasn't doing that, you would find her with her grandkids at one of their events or letting them paint her nails. In the afternoon, she enjoyed drinking a chocolate milkshake and tea.

Daughter, Brigette and Jason Terry of LaGrange.
Son, Robert and Lashanda Martin of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Vickie and James Jenkins of Kendallville.
Daughter, Christina Renshaw of Garrett.
Son, James Martin of Waterloo.
Son, Steve Martin and Amber Edmond of Pierceton.
Son, Douglas and Jackie Martin of Chesterton.
Son, Joseph and Brittany Martin of Waterloo.
Daughter, Debra Martin of Madison.
16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Sister, Judy Heinrich of Hamilton.
Sister, Marie Huffnagle of Louisville, Kentucky.
Brother, Allen Waltmire, is deceased.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM. Pastor George Foulk will officiate the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
