Carolyn (Hardy) Pletcher

Carolyn Louise Pletcher, age 81, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Pletcher was born in Boone, North Carolina on August 2, 1939 to the late Floyd R. and Josie E. (Stanbery) Hardy. She married David Leroy Pletcher on August 10, 1957 at the Sherman Street Church of God in Fort Wayne. Carolyn was a homemaker and she loved quilting. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and every occasion was a family celebration. She was always looking for ways to serve and be a blessing to others. 

Survivors include:
Husband, David Pletcher of Fort Wayne.
Son, Don Pletcher and Becca McCartney of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Robin and Tim Foote of New Haven.
Daughter, Vicki and Jeff Saine of Elko, Minnesota.
Son-in-law, Scott and Teresa Ellenberger.
13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Sister, Joy Ames of New Haven.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Lynn Ellenberger; her parents; and a sister, Lynne Doctor. 

Visitation will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 8611 Mayhew Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Grace Point Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Spencer Foote, Timothy L. Foote, Benjamin Saine, Dalton Ellenberger, Corbin Ellenberger, Caleb Stidams and Riley Huffer.  
Memorial donations may be made to Mustard Seed or Fostering Hope.
