Charley Parker

Charles Edward “Charley” Parker, age 72, of Kendallville, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Parker was born in Elkhart, Indiana on September 9, 1947 to Kenneth Edward Parker and Ravina (Lytell) “June” Strater. He graduated from Albion-Jefferson High School in 1966 and honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Flint & Walling in Kendallville.

Survivors include:
Mother, June Stater of Kendallville.
Daughter, Marina Parker of Kendallville.
Son, Shane and Rachel Parker of Ripley, Tennessee.
Son, BJ and Sherri Parker of Memphis, Tennessee.
Companion, Vonda Ferris of Kendallville.
Stepbrother, Stan and Margaret Strater of Albion.
Mother of his children, Sandy (Pontius) Parker of Ripley, Tennessee.
9 grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Hite Funeral Home from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with military honors at 3:00 PM.
