Clifford Lee Roberts, age 53, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at his rural Kendallville home. Cliff was born in Kendallville, Indiana on November 6, 1966 to Arnold and Betty Karen (Adams) Roberts who survive him. He honorably served his country in the United States Army Reserves from 1989-1996. He was a semi-truck driver for Kraft Foods and Hartford City Paper Company. He was first married to Nonalee Utoka Messer who preceded him in death in 2010. Cliff later married Catherine Eve Brumbaugh on November 6, 2011 in Rome City. He loved watching old Western movies, John Deere tractors, semi-trucks, black powder rifles and he was a big Buford Pusser fan.

Wife, Cathy Roberts of Kendallville.
Parents, Arnold and Betty Roberts of Kendallville.
Seven stepchildren: Jessica Brumbaugh of Kendallville; Zebulon and Harmony Cromie of Baytown, Texas; Zane and Ashley Cromie of Cromwell; Courtney Cooper of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Kyle Cooper of Kendallville; Julie Geller of Kendallville; and Rose Marie Cleveland of Huffman, Texas. 14 stepgrandchildren.
Sister, Lorna Gale and Marty Collins of Fort Wayne.
Brothers-in-law, Garnel “Junior” Handshoe of Garrett; Marshall Brumbaugh of Garrett; George Brumbaugh of Garrett; and Jeff Brumbaugh of Kendallville.
Visitation and funeral services will take place on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Pastor Steve Herendeen will officiate the service.
Burial with military honors will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
