Clifford Warstler Obituary

Clifford L. Warstler, age 84, of Lake of the Woods, near Hudson, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Warstler was born in Auburn, Indiana on August 11, 1940, to the late Roy D. Warstler and Laura E. (Bishop) Warstler. He graduated from Eastside High School in 1958 and entered into the United States Army where he honorably served his country stateside during the Vietnam War. He married Carol Marie Campbell on January 22, 1966, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Clifford spent his working career and retired from B.F. Goodrich in Woodburn. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and he cherished spending time with his family, cookouts at the lake, and schooling his grandkids in Ping Pong. Cliff also enjoyed nature, his dog, Holly; watching the birds, and walks around the lake. He was deeply rooted in his Christian faith and a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church near Hudson. 

Survivors include:
His wife, Carol Warstler of Lake of the Woods.
Son, Barry and his wife, Jody Warstler of Fort Wayne. 
Daughter, Lisa Perkins and her fiancé, Shawn Bell both of Fort Wayne.
Four grandchildren: Cierra Warstler of Auburn, Hannah Warstler of Indianapolis, Chase and Megan Perkins of Indianapolis, and Hailee Perkins of Fort Wayne. 
One great granddaughter, Paislee Parks. 
Sister, Margie Woodcock of Athens, Ohio.
Brother, Alva Warstler of Kokomo, Indiana.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Laura Warstler; sister, Lucy Anders; brothers, Gene Warstler and Billy Warstler; and a great grandson, Vinny Perkins. 

Visitation will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.  There will also be visitation held Saturday at 10:00 AM prior to the service. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Pratt from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Prince of Peace Lutheran Cemetery near Hudson. 
Memorial donations may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or Humane Fort Wayne.
