Dalton J.A. Jones, age 32, died April 22, 2022 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Dalton was born in Kendallville, Indiana on March 31, 1990 to Jennifer Ann (Jones) Lewis and Matthew A. Maloy. Dalton attended East Noble High School and he was a certified welder. He had many friends and a heart of gold, and he was always willing to give someone a helping hand. He loved driving cars, loud music, fishing, hunting mushrooms, riding four wheelers, and shooting target practice. Mostly he loved just being with his family.

Survivors include:
His mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Marc Lewis of Auburn.
His father, Matt Maloy of Picayune, Mississippi.
Half-sister, DesiRae Maloy Wilson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. 
Grandmother, Judy Jones of Brimfield.
Aunt, Tammy Niccum and Dan Helton of Fort Wayne.
Cousins, Lucy Niccum, Logan Niccum, and Tyler Niccum.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Terry Jones on February 28, 2022; his best friend, Milton “Ray” Cisco; and his uncle, Mike Niccum. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM. Pastor Regan Ford will officiate the service.
Memorial donations to help the family may be made to Hite Funeral Home.
