David Easterday

David W. Easterday, age 66, of Garrett, died Thursday, April 1st, 2021, at his residence. He was born May 23rd, 1954 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late Laurel (Pork) and Betty (Hovarter) Easterday. On December 30th, 1977 In Albion Indiana, he was united in marriage to Joyce M. Reade. She preceded him in death on May 19th, 2013. He worked at Essex Wire in Kendallville, where he met Joyce. He retired from Essex Wire after 35 years of employment. Dave loved boating, water skiing, fishing, dirt biking, sport shooting, karaoke, and working on hot rods.

Son, Jason and Brooke Easterday of Garrett
Stepson, Brian Bair of Kendallville
Grandson, Christopher and Melia Seely, and Boston and Autumn
Great Grandchildren, Aydin and Avery Seely
Brother, Dennis Easterday of Kendallville
Girlfriend, Linda Burritt of Garrett
Many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his stepson Timothy Bair.

As per Dave's wishes there will be no visitation or grave side funeral service, but there will be a memorial dinner and celebration of life at the Altona Town Hall in Altona, located on West Quincy Street, west of Garrett, on Wednesday, April 7th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville.
