David Carl Haaser, age 61, of Big Long Lake, passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2022 at home. David was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 31, 1960 to the late Donald Carl Haaser and Mary Magdalene (Halbeisen) Haaser. He graduated from Snider High School in Fort Wayne in 1979. He was a tool and die machinist and employed by Kautex in Avilla. David was a hardcore Green Bay Packers fan. He loved the outdoors and all the activities that went with being outside. He loved to go fishing, hunting and mushrooming. He became a licensed pilot to fly drones and shoot promotional videos for the business he created called Sunrise Studios. 

Survivors include:
Brother, Steven Haaser of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Brother, Douglas and Linda Haaser of Hudson.
Brother, Daniel and Mary Haaser of Angola.
Brother, Gregory and Tracy Haaser of Garrett.
Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 from 1:00-5:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM with Pastor Richard Secor officiating.
