David Paulsen

David Earl Paulsen, age 88, of Auburn, passed away on May 19, 2022 at Bethlehem Woods in Fort Wayne. Mr. Paulsen was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 6, 1933 to the late Ernest and Genevieve (Duddleson) Paulsen. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Linda D. Shephard on February 22, 1969 in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. David was a retired welder and with the Brindle Corporation in Grabill. 

Survivors include:
Wife, Linda Paulsen of Auburn.
Son, Steve Paulsen of Auburn.
Daughter, Daelin and Herbert Boucher of Avilla.
Son, Doug and Amanda Paulsen of Yoder. 
Four grandchildren: Stevie and Liz Paulsen of Columbus, Ohio; Sheri Boucher of Avilla; Tianna Schuerman of Fort Wayne and Mason Paulsen of Fort Wayne. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 1349 South Randolph Street, Garrett with visitation at 9:30 AM prior to the service. There will be a luncheon served following the funeral service.
Burial will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:00 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to Stillwater Hospice or Zion Lutheran Church.
