Obituary
David Lee Ranly, age 73, of Huntertown, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. David was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 29, 1949 to the late Robert and Delores (James) Ranly. At the young age of 18, David entered the United States Marine Corps where he honorably served his country for three years during the Vietnam War. Dave married Denise Anne Turner on February 21, 1986 in Orlando, Florida. He was a senior clerk with American Electric Power.
Survivors include:
Wife, Denise Turner-Ranly of Huntertown.
Daughter, Kirsten Ranly of Indianapolis.
Son, Rob Ranly of Birmingham, Alabama.
Granddaughter, Emily and Christopher Monroe and their son Elijah of Indianapolis.
Grandson, Hunter Ranly.
Brother, Keith and Judy Ranly
Nieces, Dawn Ranly, Lesley Patton, Lynelle and Eric Waggy (their daughter Alysha and Dallas Street and their children, Keaton, Maverick & DJ).
Great nephews, Lance and Brianna Grubb (and their children, Lily & Molly) and Leland Waggy.
Gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, March 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with military honors at 4:00 PM.
