David Warren Todd

David Warren Todd, age 42, passed away on April 25, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on October 31, 1982, in Indianapolis, David lived a life defined by honor, faith, and an unwavering love for his family and country.

David honorably served in the United States Army and was a proud combat veteran, having deployed to Iraq. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), where he found fellowship among those who had also served and sacrificed. After retiring from the Army, David continued to exemplify the values of loyalty, courage, and service.

He found peace and joy in nature, and loved fishing, baseball, and quiet moments in the outdoors. A devout Christian, David believed in God without question and lived his faith openly and sincerely. He was the kind of man who knew no strangers—anyone in need of a friend found one in him.

David was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Andrew Todd, and his mother, Deborah Lynn Todd (McGarrity). He is survived by his two sisters, Evie Todd of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Leslie Lewis of Madison, Indiana; his two brothers, Mitchell Todd of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Dustin Lane (Ali Lane) of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends whose lives he touched with kindness and warmth.
