Dennis Englehart Obituary

DENNIS LEE (DENNY) ENGLEHART, of Huntertown, died Friday, March 19, 2021 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Born August 6, 1940 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Everette Englehart and Henrietta Englehart-Leedy.  He was a graduate of Huntertown High School.  Denny was united in holy matrimony to Frances Marion Weeks at Huntertown Methodist Church on September 25, 1965.  They were blessed with two children shortly after.  Dennis Lee is a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served from 1963-1965.  He then began his professional career as a hazardous waste hauler, first at Hall’s Specialties, followed by Montgomery Tank Lines, and finally at Grammar Industries.  He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Garrett Country Club for years, golfing in a league every Thursday night.  As well as golf, he was also involved in various baseball leagues throughout the years.  Denny took care to make sure that he spent as much time as possible with his friends and family.  He also made sure that he was able to tinker throughout the day and make his “tomorrow” lists.  
Denny will be forever cherished by:

Son, James Alan Englehart.
Daughter, Terri Lynn (Richard) Englehart-Rjasko.
Grandson, Tate Bradley Englehart.
Granddaughter, Tori Christine Englehart.
Granddaughter, Tyra Leanne (Jon) Englehart-Timmerman.
Granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Rjasko.
Grandson, Maddox John Rjasko.
Sister, Dorothy Kay “Dottie” (Louis) Englehart-Alday.
Brother, Gary Ray (Glenda) Englehart.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Englehart, sister, June Englehart-Myers, Sister-in-law, Carol Englehart and brother-in-law, Edward Myers.
