Dianna Jean Schultis, age 77, of Fort Wayne, died June 10, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Schultis was born in Auburn, Indiana on December 26, 1943 to the late Clinton “Johnny” Bherns and Rose Irene (Krick) Bherns. She graduated from Garrett High School in 1960 and was employed with Sealed Power in LaGrange for many years. She married James Charles Schultis on April 18, 1964 in Edgerton, Ohio. From 1988 until 1995, Dianna and Jim were foster parents to many children who needed a temporary home. She was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.

Husband, Jim Schultis of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Mary Allred of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Patricia Parrish of Corunna.
Son, Daniel Schultis of Kendallville.
Son, Michael Schultis of Fort Wayne.
Grandchildren: Samantha Allred (Tom Miller) North Manchester, Emily (Heath) Keener of Auburn, Alexandria Parrish of Corunna, Bethany Schultis of Corunna, Gabriel Schultis of U.S.M.C., Nicholas Allred of Ft. Wayne and great-grandchildren, Charlee E. Keener and River Grace Keener of Auburn.
Sister, Rosemary Gottfried of Garrett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Clinton Bherns; and a son-in-law, Bryan Allred in 1996.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 3333 East Tillman Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana with Fr. Steven Weber officiating the mass.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, Indiana.
