Erick Connerley

Erick R. Connerley, 38, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 29, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 19, 1982 in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1989 his family moved to the Chicago area where he grew up. He loved sports. He participated in organized soccer, little league (he played all levels) and his favorite sport was basketball. He played organized basketball with Aurora Park District/Plainfield Park District/Plainfield High School. He certainly was a gifted athlete in any sport. He graduated from Plainfield High School, Plainfield Illinois in 2001. In later years went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State.

He is survived by his parents, Rick and Cathy Connerley; brother, Justin (Melissa) Connerley; sister, Amy (Adam) DeWyse; nieces, Maylin and Morgan Connerley, Taylor DeWyse and nephew, Jacob DeWyse. We are missing you and love you dearly.  

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Brookside Church, 6102 Evard Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46835.
