Gary Bartle

Gary Alan Bartle, age 64, passed away June 25, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Gary was born in Greenfield, Indiana on February 5, 1960, to James and Pauline (Adams) Bartle. Gary grew up in Anderson and graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1978. He married Stacy Ann Sherman on October 31, 1995, in Marion, Indiana. He retired from Madison County Highway Department in 1995. He was one of the founding members of a Star Trek Fan Club Ship, The U.S.S. Defiant, which participated in numerous fan club conventions and charity events. His hobbies were vast and included reenactment in different time periods of history.  He enjoyed the outdoors.  Was an avid James Bond, Dallas Cowboys and pro wrestling enthusiast. He was also an animal lover.

Son, Jamison Alan Bartle of Amboy. 
Mother, Pauline Bartle of Anderson.
Sister, Sandy Bartle of Anderson.

A Celebration of Gary's life will be held Saturday, July 20th at the Herman Agness Park community building on Main Street in Amboy from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
