Gary Pickett

Gary Lee Pickett, 81, of Fort Wayne died Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.  Born in New Haven, Indiana, he attended New Haven High School and served for four years in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962. He married Deborah Jo Arnold on April 19, 1969.  He retired from General Electric after many years of service.  He was a life-long fur trapper, a defender of his community, and a constant provider for his family.  Tonka Heya!

Surviving are his son, Shane A. (Amanda) Pickett of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Stacie M. (Jay) Esparza of Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren: Alexander, Samuel, Madison, Rachael and Nathaniel. Preceding him in death were his wife, Deborah; parents, Glenn Pickett and Phyllis (Burgette) Stark; sibling, Dale (Joann) Pickett. 

This private funeral service will be shared to the public online at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at www.epiphanyfw.com, followed by a private graveside service at Eel River Cemetery.
