Gary Lee Wooten, age 75, of Rome City, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Gary was born in Kendallville, Indiana on March 3, 1946 to the late Harry Arnold Wooten and Joyce Maxine (Lash) Taylor. He married Patricia Ann Bolinger on June 22, 1991 in above the Dairy Point in Rome City. Gary worked for Monsanto and Kreider’s in Ligonier; Frick Lumber in Wawaka; and with Ernie Cook mowing and trimming the cemetery.

Son, Gordon Click of Ligonier.

Son, Keith Michael and Naomi Wooten of Wolcottville.
Stepson, Levi and Patricia Bolinger of Albion.
Stepdaughter, Jessica Owen of Angola.
Stepson, David DeRemer of Wolcottville.
22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 4:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 4:00 PM. Rev. Charles Mosley will officiate the service. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home.
