Geneva (Newport) Calveard

Geneva Pauline Calveard, age 92, of Huntington, passed away July 10, 2024, with her daughter by her side, at Tipton Place Assisted Living in Huntington. Mrs. Calveard was born in Lincoln, Indiana on May 13, 1932, to the late Alba and Ressie (Fife) Newport. She was raised in Kokomo, Indiana with three sisters and two brothers. She was married to John Collis Calveard, Jr. on December 27, 1958, in Kokomo and he preceded her in death in 2020. She was employed many years by Delco Electronics (now General Motors) in Kokomo before retiring in 1980. She and her husband enjoyed the 35 winters spent in Frostproof, Florida. Pauline was a crafty person and made many nice things.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Lisa Southworth of Huntington.
Stepson, Michael and Kathi Calveard of Frostproof, Florida.
Sister, Thelma McCool of Huntertown.
Granddoggie, Bella.
Special friends, Fontella Boxell and Vicki Bair. 

She was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Jerry Southworth; two sisters and two brothers.  

There are no services scheduled.
